Five Years Later
I could not believe it when my lawyer told me to expect my cour case to drag on for several years. I knew the courts were slow, but I never realized quite how bad it could be. I was glad that I took his advice and got one of those settlement loans to hold me over while waiting for the case to finalize. After multiple delays and rescheduled court days, my case finally settled almost five years after my accident.
